Products
We offer a wide choice of beef steaks, roasting joints, minced and diced beef and cheaper cuts for soups and stews. We can also provide special cuts like rolled sirloin or ribs of beef on the bone. We supply any cut of lamb and also mutton and pork from time to time.
And we make some great meat-based products too: black pudding, haggis, sausages, all made by Ronnie the butcher from recipes devised by himself and Sandy, using the correct cuts, and top quality herbs and spices (no 'mechanically recovered' material is used!). Popular sausages are lamb, rosemary and garlic; and beef, coriander and chilli.
You can order Barbreck Farm products here and at many retail outlets. Or you can sample them hot at festivals or a growing number of Scottish pubs, restaurants, and hotels.
Other Producers’ Products
We source from as many producers in Argyll as we can because small primary production businesses are what keeps the local economy alive. Sourcing locally also keeps the carbon footprint for deliveries down to a minimum.
That said, we never compromise on quality; we won’t stock something just because it is local – it has to be good. So, we stock some top quality Scottish produce from further afield as well.
